HOW FAST IS “FAST”???
Now, on the surface, this appears to be a silly question;
however, after a little analysis it is not, as there is cer-
tainly quite a spread in “How fast is fast” . . . The first
recorded effort on the ground in a vehicle was made in
France in 1HDH hy Chassedoup laiuhat and his speed was
39.23 mph . . . First over 100 mph wa* Major Seagrave at

the first man to travel more than 100 mph on the land . . .
WHO ORIGINATED THE GOLDEN GLOVES??
The Golden Gloves were originated nnd sponsored in
New York hy the New York Daily News and at first it was
limited to amateur boxers in the metropolitan area of New

iastically that it sprend to National nnd International
