The Houston Chronicle tells of a
bunch of young fellows ordered out
of town, and as they are forced to
move they are as apt to - come this
way as any other. The local officers
will probably be on the lookout for
them. The Chrnoicle has the follow-
ing details of their operations:
“Crooked dice were exhibited in
Judge Roberts’ court Wednesday
morning. Three young men arrested
last night in railroad yards were dis-
charged on vagrancy complaints, but
the court confiscated 12 pairs of load-.
| ed and doctored dice. Six pairs had
no deuces at all and the other six
abounded in treys and fours, making
a. pass the simplest thing in the
world. The defendants were given an
j hour’s time to leave the city.”
