reported today.

the Southeastern Conference each
got three nominees while the Big

souri. Pcnn State was the lone
independent and also the single
Eastern nominee in the voting.
Ohio State with 22 lcttermcn
' returning edged Alabama the
country's top team last fall.
'Bama's Bryant with a streak of
18 victories has a major problem
in getting a replacement for All-
American quarterback Pat Tram-
mell. The coaches will make their
selections for the 73rd All-Amerl-ica
originated by Walter Camp
and the top 33 players will be an-
nounced in the Dec. 1 issue of
TV Guide. The first 11 players
will fly to New York to appear on
the Ed Sullivan Show Sunday
Dec. 2.
