Tax Forms 941
For Employers
Due Out Soon
AUSTIN, TEXAS-Employers in
the Austin District of Internal
Revenue will receive through
the mail on or about Decem-
ber 31, pre-addressed Forms
941, "Employers Quarterly
Federal Tax Return,” for use
in reporting income taxes with-
held and social security taxes
for the calendar quarter ending
December 31, 1966, District
Director R. L. Phinney pointed
out today.
The use of these pre-addres-
sed forms, which also carry
the correct employer identific-
ation number, will insure the
prompt and proper credit to
taxpayer accounts when these
quarterly returns are proces-
sed through the ADP system at
the regional service center.
Phinney said also that blank
forms are available tr. the Dis-
trict and local office* for new
filers and urged that those em-
ployers who have been assign-
ed identification numbers make
sure the number entered on the
tax form is correct. Employ-
ers without identification num-
bers should attach application
Form SS-4 to the return for
a number when filing.
