. By DOniNDA DUNAGAN
Ono of the highlights of the
1964 ACC Lectureship will be a
College Forum.
This forum will be of special
Interest to the students for the
chief purpose of the forum is
q the discussion of the actual live
questions that arc in the minds
concerning Christian faith and
practical life.
The College Forum will be
held at 9:15 a.m. Monday through
Thursday of lecture week in the
College Church auditorium.
The students will be in charge
of the devotlonals and Gary Mc-
Caleb of Anson ACC student
body president will be master of
ceremonies.

Forum will be Jennings Davis
Jr. Dean of Students at Pepper-
dine College in Los Angeles
Calif. and William S. Banowsky

These men have had much
contact with young people and
are well oriented in student

set aside for questions fiom the
floor and panel discussion.
Students will be able to ask
their questions by the use of
roving microphones in the "Dr.
I.Q." fashion. Subjects of faith
authority morality citizenship
and wholesome basic attitudes
will be topics of discussion.
The daily topics and student
participants are:
As to My Conviction About Faith
and Morality?
Marshall Cllnkscalcs Tyler;
Larry McClung Wichita Falls
A few of the prominent ques-
tions under this heading are as
follows: In morality isn't each
person tho sole guide of his ac-
tion? In other .words what might
be right for ono might be wrong
for another. Are students being
adequately equipped to deal with
challenges of their faith from
modern philosophy?
As To My Being a Cltlxtn?
Tom Bost Roswell New Mexico;
Don Crisp Abilene
Two important questions un-
der this heading are:

Senators
Rules for
By GLENNA WILSON
"For the first time in a long
while the Senate is going to take
part in policy-making for the
school" announced Senate pres-
ident Royce Money Monday
night in introducing the repre-
sentatives to the student body
affairs for the second semester.
The Senate's discussion of stu-
dent parking begun In the hope
of producing a scries of recom-
mendations to present to the
Student Life Committee ended
when the senators true represen-
tatives of the student body found
a gap in their knowledge ACC
car registration and parking pol-
icies. However a number of senators
made suggestions on automobile
registration campus parking
rules and enforcement of the
rules by a full-time uniformed
security officer. Before final re-
commendation is made Dean of
Students Garvin Beauchamp will
comment on specific rules and
problems needing Senate consid-
eration. The Senate voted with only
one disagreeing representative to
pay for repair materials for the
recently raised and recently- fal-
len bulletin board on the south
wall of the Student Exchange.
"Since the accident was caused
by faulty workmanship" the
lone dissenter freshman Jay
Gamer said "I don't think we'll
be in the right if we pay for any
of it."
President Money commented
Should a Christian feel com-
pelled to support activities of
government which may be harm-
ful and in opposition to his re-
ligious and moral beliefs?
Through taxes military service
etc. To what extent should a
Christian contribute to a service
club project or the MOD when

"I don't think it's fair to ask him
(the builder) to do the repairs
free." The group compromised in
their decision to pay only for re-
placement of parts not work-
manship. The remaining $3000 in the en-
tertainment budget and the $1000
in the special projects fund were
mentioned for consideration. The
Students Association hopes that
by charging a slightly higher ad-
mission to spring entertainment
two well-known performers can
be brought to the ACC stage dur-
ing this semester.
New Annual
To Be Vocal
A talking yearbook is the new-
est thing on the radio log for the
rampus station KACC.
The vocal yearbook which will
be produced by Jack Burford and
the Century Custom Recording
Service will highlight the out-
standing events of the year in
sou.nd: ..-.
Auditions for the narrator of
the album will be held Tuesday
February 18 at the KACC stud-
ios in the basement of McKenzie
Hall from 1:00-4:00 p.m.

as a supplement and a valuable
collection for the visual yearbook

At To My Attitude Toward
Authority?
Royce Money Temple;
Jim Reynolds Pueblo Colo. '
Several of tho pertinent ques-
tions under this topic are: Where
is the line drawn between author-
itarianism and veracious author-
ity? When should children be-
gin to ttake parent's instructions
as advice and not command?
At to My Being Hypercritical?
Jock Griggs Monahans;
Mike McGuire Artesia N. M.
Two leading questions ask
about this subject arc:
What does one think God feels
toward the person who is hyper-
critical? Is there any set division
between constructive criticism
and hypercritlcism? Can any pos-
itive standard be set?
Lectureship officials feel that
the College Forum will encourage
student participation in Lecture-
ship activities greater than ever
before.
