Yeager home Thursday night.

spent Sunday with hi& grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Hodgkiss.
Mr. Ray Anderson, Ovid Gaunce,
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Guest and Floyd
Cummings called in the Rogers home
Sunday morning.
Mrs. Cora Garner and Billie Wade
called on Mrs. Floyd Cummings and
Hubert Maxine last Monday morning.
The following people visited in the
Hodgkiss home Saturday night to
listen and make music: Mr. and Mrs.
Jim Guest, Masters Charlie and Mel-
ton Rogers, Albert Brown, Clyde
Hartwell, Ovid and Jimmie Gaunce,
Stanley Yeager and son Edward,
Mrs. Jane Young and daughter Nina
Pearl, Mr. Clyde Hartwell and Albert
Brown, Misses Bonnie Rogers, Ruth
and Ann Jane Davis, Ruth McFarlin,
Mrs. Nora Gaunce and daughter,
Mrs. Owens and little daughter, Mr.
and Mrs. Buster Gaunce and two
children and Floyd Cummings and
family. Everybody reported a nice
time. Mr. Guest is the leader of
the promising young musicians. He
has invited the people to his home
in the near future. Mr. Guest plays
the violin, J. C. Hodgkiss the man-
dolin, Charlie and Ovid the guitars.
There is prayer meeting in the
school house every Sunday night.
You are invited to come and bring
someone with you.
Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Rogers spent
Sunday with Mr. Luther Rogers and
family.
Mr. J. C. Hodgkiss called on Mr.
Ovid Gaunce, Sunday.
Mr. Ray Anderson was a brief
caller in the Hodgkiss home Sunday
afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. L. K. Hargrove were
in this community -Sunday afternoon.
We are glad to hear that Mrs.
Collie Smith is improving. The

Rogers, Sunday.

have moved into this community.
Several from this vicinity have
been attending the playS" at Edhube.
MULBERRY
Mr. Albert Barley, cashier -of the
Ladonia bank, accompanied by La-
donia school boys and girls,, present-
ed -a program at the Mulberry school
house, Friday night, May 15th. They
were all dressed up in Centennial
regalia. The program was well rend-
ered and a large crowd attended.
We invite them to come again.
Miss Agnes Bond is visiting her
this week end.
Miss Evelyn Cain called on Miss
Lucille Carroll, Sunday.
Miss Geneva Parks is visiting
friends in Bonham.
Mr. Buddie Patterson, Jessie Tay-
lor, Joseph and Merle Palm-ore of
Fairview, visited here Saturday night.
Annie Loy Price called on Mildred
Johnson, Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. T-ollie Burkett and
family visited Mr. and Mi's. Walter
McClure of Trenton, Sunday.
Mr. Jack Rogers of Bonham visit-
ed in this community, Sunday night.
Horace and Dennis Miller called
on Audry Cain, Sunday.
Miss Hattie Grace Price spent Sat-
urday night with Mrs. Do-vie Glass-
cock.
Mrs. Cecil Steward, Elsie and Lu-
cille Standifer of -Sandy attended the
play at Mulberry, Friday night.
Mrs. John Crumby called -on Mrs.
P. L. Crumby, Sunday.
