AREA DEATHS
Tracy Twyford
Tracy Lee Twyford, age 53, a
devoted father and husband,
passed away September 11,2010
in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A memorial service was held
at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September
14, 2010 at Our Redeemer
Lutheran Church located at4605
Cypress Avenue in Wichita Falls
with Pastor Dale Snyder
officiating.
Tracy was bom March 25,
1957 to Thomas Laird Twyford
and Virginia Beth Sheaf
Twyford.
He graduated from Tarleton
State University with a Bachelor
of Science in Agricultural
Education. He taught for a short
time and was a meat cutter and
market manager for several
groceries stores for over twenty
years. He then was a pipe fitter
for eight years where he was
currently employed.
Tracy and Mary Lisa Quillen
were married January 1,1978 in
Lockett, Texas.
He was a member of Our
Redeemer Lutheran Church in
Wichita Falls. He was an active
Buck Skinner and enjoyed
attending Pre-1840 Style
Rendezvous with his boys.
Survivors include his wife,
Mary of the home; two sons,
Zachary Twyford of
Stephenville and Cooper
Twyford of the home; and his
brothers and sisters, Teddie
Goodwin of El Reno, Oklahoma,
Toby Wood of Wichita Falls,
Thomas Twyford of Eugene,
Oregon, and Tammi Bush of
Colorado Springs, Colorado.
In lieu of flowers, the family
suggests memorials to Our
Redeemer Lutheran Church,
4605 Cypress Avenue, Wichita
Falls, Texas 76310.

DSHS Influenza
Immunization
Clinic-Archer City
DSHS will be conducting an
influenza immunization clinic
at the Archer Activity Center on
Thursday, Sept 23 from 9-12
and 1-3 pm.
The influenza vaccine for
adults and children ages 3 and
up is available. Medicare,
Medicaid and chip are accepted
as full payment. All others are
asked to pay $10.00.
Pneumococcal vaccine is
available.
The Texas Department of State
Health Services operates on a
sliding fee scale which takes into
consideration the family income
and number in the household
but no one is denied services
due to an inability to pay. Parents
or guardians must accompany a
minor.

meet Monday
The Wichita County Republi-
can Women will have their
monthly meeting on Monday,
September 20,2010, from noon
until 1:00 p.m.at Luby ’ s Cafete-

Quilt Show
The Busy Bee Quilt Club will
sponsor their annual Busy Bee
Quilt Show in Post Oak on Sep-
tember 24 & 25, 2010 from 10
a.m. to 4 p.m.' each day at the
Community Building located at
Schmittou Rd. at FM Road
2127.
Post Oak is located off FM
2127 between Jacksboro and
Bowie (off Hwy. 59) or between
Jacksboro and Henrietta (off
Hwy. 148).
Features will include quilts on
display, door prizes, craft items,
local vendor, and the trash and
treasure sale.

Influenza Clinic
DSHS will be conducting an

in the Parish Hall in Windthorst
on Wednesday, September 22
from 9-12 and 2-6. The influ-
enza vaccine for adults will be
available. Medicare, Medicaid
and Chip are accepted as full
payment. $10.00 is asked for
others getting the flu injection.
Pneumococcal vaccine is avail-
able also.
All school immunizations as
well as infant immunizations
will be offered. These include
Tdap, Menningococcal, DtaP,
Polio, Hib, MMR, Hepatitis B,
Prevnar, Varicella and Hepati-
tis A as well as Pediarix and
Pentacel for infants.
