f Dave Meyers was admitted to
bail last week in the sum of $5000,
and he readily gave the same
and was liberated after imprison-
ment of four years. He was tried
here and given twenty-five years
in the d^ues case, and tqok an ap-
peal. An the Binkley case he se-
cured charge of venue to Bell
county,, and there tried and given
a life term; On this case he also
took an appeal end secured a re-
versal. The case was again tried
in Beltbn and acquitted in the Bink-
ley case; Following this a rever-
sal was secured in the Jones case,
which resulted in his securing hail.
It is said that these cases develop-
ed many r.ew points in law.—
