man who lives in a humble cottage
on Laredo street. He is a well-
proportioned, Inmrty man of TOO i
pounds burden apd has a dapper j
little wife whoso avoirdupois will
probably reach 110. Yesterday j
there came to their home a midget
boy baby, perfectly formed and ap- j
parently healthy, whose weight will ■
not exceed sixteen ounces. The
body can be covered . with a pint
cup and its fingers and toes resemble *
those of a pretty little wax doll. If |
babies are ever pretty at birth this
diminutive youngster may be called (
handsome. Its cheeks, not larger
than a silver quarter, are plujnp
and perfect, while its nasal pro-
tuberance resembles a pea. When I
first shown to its - mother it was
lost on the -surface of an ordinary
pillow. The child U very lively,
nnd manifests great strength for its
size. Its mouth, which is no ats
laxge as a niekle, opens to emit a
good big voice, comparatively. It
