"Dear Benella: As per my
letter from Mr. Bennie Hump-

note. I understand you are a

fan and I think that it is great
for fans to have the kind of
loyalty you and Mr. Humphries
have tor your respective teams.
I do hope when we play the
Saints again, you wont have
the desire to call Mr. Hump-

about the game. Give my best
to Archie and my friends on

signed: "Sincerely, Bob Lilly.”

SAID
I AM CONTENT
Head 8 King* 4iIIM
“It is well with thee? It is well with thy
husband? It is well with the child? and she
answered, it is well” (2 Kings 4:28)
This beautiful story at faith in God and
solicitude for God's prophet of the woman of
Shunam has a lesson for us today. She sought
no personal reward for her hospitality. Her
contentment with her lot was simply stated "I
live among my own kin,” that is, "I am hapg>y
where I am and desire nothing else.” Can you
say this, or do you permit your inward peace
to be disturbed by envy, longings for Wealth,
social position, beauty, “things” that you do not
possess? Or can you, like Paul say “godliness,
with contentment is great gain."
Sometime later as Elisha had promised,
the Shumammite had a child who suddenly be-
came sick and died in her arms. Her faith was
not shattered but strengthened as she ran to the
prophet, telling her husband only that “all shall
be wall.” To the questions of Elisha’s servant
she again answered, “It is well” What mar-
velous faith and trust!
Can we not follow her example and through
continued spiritual growth “let the peace of
God which passeth all understanding keep our
hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, Our
Lord."?

Of course, the story of the
Dallas Cowboys and their 15
consecutive string of victories
through last Saturday night in-
cluding their world champion-
ship title, is really making it
great for Humphries to lord it
over his daughter these days.
And, he is certainly taking every
advantage.
This week, the Aransas Pass
man received an autographed
picture of Lilly so naturally,
he must let bis daughter know
about this. Lilly is also known
personally by many in this area,
as he is an investor of a shop-
ping center nearing completion
in nearby Rockport and will be
part owner of one to be con-
structed in Aransas Pass in the
not too distant future.
Lilly has made numerous
trips to this area and he is
well aware that this area is
"Dallas Cowboy Country", by
the number of auto stickers,
lhn letters, etc.
While he feuds football with
Benella, Humphries is very
proud of his daughter. She re-
ceived her Bachelor of Science
degree in nursing in Mississippi
and then went on to receive her
Doctor of Medicine degree.
"Things are Just getting into
low gear right now—wait until
regular season play begins,"
Humphries said today. "Tbs
Cowboys are on their way again
to a second world championship
and the Saints will never see

The annual trek to the Shrine

them and left from City Hall.
Arriving in their caravan, the
local youngsters were guests of
