Mrs. Shirley Nix Hamby of
Ingl—id# and Charles Her-
bert Wiginton of Gregory
were married Sunday after-
noon in the Methodist Church
in IngleAde in the presence
of family and close friends.
The Rev. W. Moorman of
Odem read the marriage
vows.
The bride wore a two piece
knit suit in tones of soft yel-
low and her hat and shoes
were in beige tones. Her cor-
sage was a white orchid.
She was attended by her
sister, Mrs. Wesley Redford,
of Flour Bluff, who wore a
turquoise wool suit Her cor-
sage was of white carnations.
Bill Rhyne of Gregory was
the groom’s attendant
A reception was held at the
home of the bride's mother,
Mrs. J. M. Points. The re-
freshment table was covered
with a white linen cloth. A
flocked white Christmas tree,
decorated with gold orna-
ments and a gold angel pro-
vided the centerpiece. Milk
glass appointments were used
in serving the wedding cake,
coffee and punch.
Out of town guests were
Mr. and Mrs. George Stone
of Houston, Mr. and Mrs.
Wesley Redford of Flour
Bluff and Mrs. Wiginton of
Calallen.
The couple will reside in
Gregory where Mr. Wiginton
is an assistant ooach at the
Gregory - Portland High
School._

Meeting
Approximately twenty
members of the Woman’s
Missionary Union met for a
business meeting December
16 at the First Baptist
Church.
Mrs. Jack Dubose, presi-
dent, presided. The group vot-
de not to have meetings on
Dec 23 and 30th.
Regular meetings will be
held on January 6th with the
Pauline Senter Circle meet-
ing in the home of Mrs Vic-
tor Walzel and the Vera
Campbell Circle meeting with
Mrs Albert Cannon
A missionary program will
be held at the church on Jan-
uary 13th, Mrs. Leroy Buck-
ley, program chairman an-
nounced.
The Vera Campbell Circle
will present the program on
"The Missionary Message of
the Bible.”

three children, John W Mullan of Millsville. Mrs Jay Peterson of Kingsville and
Mrs Charles Segrest of Portland; and four grandchildren, Phil Peterson. Charles
Segreat and J W and Joan Mullan. Their children will honor them with an open
house and reception Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 p m
