The serving table was laid
with an Irish linen cloth, em-
broidered in gold and cranberry
cross stitch with a cream white
rose centerpiece. Pink punch
in cranberry crystal was ser-
ved with cake.
The wedding gifts were dis-
played in the adjoining living
room on white-covered tables.
Hostesses were Mr. and Mrs.
Gwynn, Mr. and Mrs. E.P, Hes-
ter, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Man-
ship, Mr. and Mrs. V,B. Crof-
tord, Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Du-

beginning on March 5 and con-
tinuing through March 12, it
was announced today by J.D.
Lanier, pastor.

for Alonso V. Pena of Aran-
sas Pass,

A native of Rockport, Pena,
70, died Saturday, Feb. 26 foll-
owing a brief Illness.
He had resided in Aransas
Pass since 1943 where he was
a member of Woodmen of the
World. He was also a veteran
of World War 1L
Interment was In Prairie
View Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Nat-
lvldad; a daughter, Mies Vivian
Aim Pena, Aransas Pass, three
brothers, Erasnlo Pena, Rock-
port; Juan and John B. Pena,
both of Port Lavaca; two sis-
ters, Miss Elena Pena and Mrs.
Refugio Gcnxales, both of Sea-

state convention of the Texas
Stats Teachers Association
March 16-18 in the San Antonio
Convention Center.
They are among the 1,390
TSTA local association mem-
bers who have been certified
as representatives to the 1972
House of Delegates, which will
meet twice at tbe convention to
discuss and act on nrooosed
amendments to the TSTA Con-
stitution and other business.
The official delegates are
elected from 499 TSTA local
associations throughout the
state. They are certified by dis-
tricts on tbe basis of one dele-
gate per 100 members or frac-
tion of 100. Every local asso-
ciation is entitled to at least
one official delegate.
With total statewide member-
ship in TSTA at a record 146,
800 this year, attendance at
the convention it expected to .. ...
