Miss Susan Jeanette Watson
and Terry Eugene Payne of
Houston were married here on
June 12 at the First United
Methodist Church.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr and Mrs. Robert B Watson
of Aransas Pass and the groom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs
Robert A. Payne of Houston
The Rev. George Yates,
campus minister of the Univer-
sity of Houston, read the
wedding vows in an afternoon
setting Traditional wedding
music was played by Mrs. John
C. Gall. Large baskets of yeltow
spider mums and gladioli were
at either side of the kneeling
rail.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a gown of
white eyelet with a four tiered
skirt Her large white picture
hat was trimmed in yellow and
she carried a bouquet of yellow-
roses
Mrs Pam Escamilla, sister of
the bride, was maid of honor
Bridesmaids were Miss Susan
Jetelina and Miss Mary Cart-

which was flanked by a single
white candle in a silver holder
and a framed wedding invita-
tion

Dahman Reunion
Held in Ft. Worth
The annual Dahman Family
Reunion was held over the
weekend at, General Dynamics
Recreational Area at Fort
Worth. Texas. Sixty-six attend
ed from Texas, Missouri,
Kansas, Oklahoma and Loui-
siana.
Attending from Aransas Pass
and Ingleside were Mr and
Mrs Ben Yoder, Mr and Mrs
Joe Yoder and family, Mr and
Mrs Dale Hagy, Mr and Mrs
Jack Hagy. Mr. and Mrs. Don
Hagy, Mr. and Mrs. Glen
Dahman and Mr. and Mrs B G.
Dahman Mary Price and son.
John David, of Beaumont also
attended
The group enjoyed tennis.
Volley ball, horse shoe pitching,
baseball, swimming, miniature
golf and many other kinds of
recreation.
The serving table held a large
arrangement of mixed daisies,
a gift from Mr. and Mrs. John
F. Yoder
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Yoder cele-
brated their 56th wedding anni-
versary at the reunion and were
given special recognition. A
special poem for the occasion
was written and read by Mrs.
Yoder
