Orlando At Wast 33 people were kitted when
severe storms hit In and around Orlando Fkkte
Sunday and early Monday ykkttnc tornadoes that
damafed or destroyed scores of buildings and
knocked out power Several trailers went airborne
In the tornadoes and others were flattened.
Reports of damage streamed into local emergency
management offices over a 75-mile stretch of Flor-
ida from Orlando to Dayton Beach. Tractor-trailer
rigs were overturned and scattered along In-
terstate 95. Florida Turnpike was shut down be-
cause of downed power lines and automobile acci-
dents police said.

Iraa Secretary-General Kofi Annan was on his
way back to the United Nations Monday having
reached a deal with Iraq will allow U.N. arms
inspectors full access to suspected weapons sites
including the presidential palaces that have been
at the heart of the latest four-month standoff.
Annan will present the signed document which
said he believed was balanced to the satisfaction of
every party involved to the Security Council on
Tuesday upon his return. Annan made the
announcement during a joint news conference
with Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Aziz Mon-
day afternoon. The agreement was reportedly
reached after Annan met Iraqi leader Saddam
Hussein for three hours Sunday afternoon.
Ireland No casualties were reported after a
car bomb exploded Monday in Portadown
Ireland 30 miles southwest of Belfast lust hours
after peace talks resumed. Police said the blast
caused considerable damage to the commercial
center of Portadown which is a strongly British
Protestant community. Belfast media received
several warning calk about 40 minutes before
the blast. That allowed authorities enough time
to evacuate the area and to eliminate potential
casualties.
