Romeo and Juliet is well-known
for its tragic love story about a
young couple caught in a feud
between their families.
However instead of just one
film version there are many differ-
ent versions of the story. The same
can be said about Hamlet and other
Shakespearean works.
"I like Shakespeare. IK Is the
most ingenious writer. Just the things
that he did totally amazes me" said
Annie Larson freshman advertising
major from Pomona CaM.
Watching Shakespeare is an
educational and entertaining way
to spend the weekend Larson said.

can use the lot.
"The AISD Is allowing us to use
the land indefinitely" Watson
said.
He said the parking lot will not
only be used for additional student
parking but also for extra parking
when the new Performing Arts
Center building Is finished.
"It's designed for students"
Watson said. "We are planning on
building a Performing Arts Center
Week to conclude
stress and anxiety. Screenings for
depression and anxiety will also be
conducted.
The Counseling Center along
with the Campus Activities Team
Is helping put this event together.
Kaley Alexander coordinator of
campus activities in Campus Life
was a key player in acquiring the
booth for Friday along with the
inflated items from Outrageous
Adventures.
"Its a way of combining learning
with fun and its helping do the
types of activities that we do"
Alexander said.
Anodier activity that will help
students relax is a game with the
hockey team Abilene Aviators. The
Aviators will be on hand to show
students some hockey pointers.
"I know there is a lot of students
on campus that are Interested in
rollcrblade hockey" said Scott Gal-
loway director of residential life
who helped recruit the Aviators for
Friday.
Faculty and staff have been
asked .to participate In a celebrity

The new parking lot will have

He sakl the additional spaces
should be open to students this
month.
"We would hope that it would
be finished in the next two to three
weeks" said Watson.
He added that students need to
be cautious of the extra traffic that
will be caused by the new lot.
"Remember there will be more
pedestrian traffic. Please look out

do not usually need ESL classes.
Some ESL students only come to
learn English not to earn a degree.
However they are counted as part
of the retention rate the amount of
students who return.
The emphasis Is placed on learn-

the classroom as well as through
non-classroom activities such as
the International Coffee Hour.
