Description: A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene Machine Company, Abilene, Texas, from R. D. Hill, Little Rock, Arkansas, dated January 24, 1950. Hill predicts that the New Mexico man will prove to be a "go-get-ter", outlines his business travel itinerary, and requests to learn by February 1 of the status of the Post Office Box in order to direct his mail there. Handwritten postscript at top left of page requests a pardon for the errors.

[Letter from Sam Graber to Joesph Bertig, January 24, 1951]

Description: Letter from Sam Graber to Joe Bertig discussing his daughter Carol's ambition to enroll at the University of Texas in Austin in the Scottish Rite Dormitory. Mr. Graber has been informed that admission to that dormitory would be easier if his daughter had a 32nd Degree Mason she was related to in the state of Texas. Mr. Graber then asks Mr. Bertig to help him find someone to put in a good word for Carol.
