Description: Letter from A. J. Strather to H. Kempner requesting his father's, J. B. Strather, note be cancelled as his death has left his family in financial turmoil in addition to his sister's death and his other sister falling ill. A. J. Strather asks for Mr. Kempner's mercy as he is unsure how he will pay for all the supply, rent, and doctors bills.
