Description: Patent for a portable fumigator for insects that uses poison laden steam and has a simple, compact, and inexpensive construction. It has a "tubular casing having a liquid-containing tank located within the same, and also having a tampering heating chamber and smoke flue, of a steam pipe located within said tapering chamber and a suitable spirit lamp" (lines 16-20).
