Metallic Post for Wire Fences.
Description:
Patent for a new and improved post for wire fences. This design "is to produce a metallic fence-post which can be quickly and easily placed in position, and which, when in position, shall have a biting or clamping action on the wires, and thus hold them from slipping" (lines 13-18).
