Station Indicator.

Description: Patent for a new and improved train station indicator. This design calls for two drums or rollers around which a banner with the different train station names and phrases written sequentially. A hand crank turns the drums, moving the banner to the desired name or phrase, as well as ringing a bell to alert passengers.

Description: Patent for a new and improved plow. This design "relates to an improvement in . . . the construction of the mold-board and to the arrangement thereof relative to the plowshare. The mold-board, instead of being curved or concave, as has usually been the case, is . . . made perfectly flat, and so constructed that it projects at one corner slightly beyond the upper edge of the plowshare. . . . Description: Patent for a new and improved attachment for oil-lamp chimneys. This design is for a metal piece to be inserted into the top of the glass chimney, resting along the chimney's brim. The piece has an elbow that connects the inserted part to an angled and tapered part, which, when appropriately turned, prevents the wind from extinguishing the lamp's flame.

This design utilizes a handle with a hollow tube leading into the oil chamber, so when the removable cap is unscrewed from the handle, air flows into the chamber, which allows the oil to flow. This eliminates the need for a spring-bottom as with other oil cans, for the flow of oil can be stopped by sealing the tube.

Pistol and Carbine Holder.
