Austin, in which Carithers informs Austin that his absence was caused by prolonged suffering of a stomach disorder, and that he recovered enough to make the move to the Texas. Carithers also informs Austin that his son-in-law will traveling ahead in hopes of establishing a factory there, and requests that Austin provide information and assistance.
