Description: The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Charles Elias. Elias joined the Navy in 1943. He completed hospital corpsman school, trained in treating traumatic injuries. He transferred over to the Marine Corps and served as a medical corpsman. Description: The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Thomas Jordan. Jordan joined the Navy on 15 December 1941. Beginning February of 1942, he served on the deck force and as aviation mechanic aboard the USS Wichita (CA-45).
