Video footage from the WBAP-TV station in Fort Worth, Texas, to accompany a news story about the veto of Texas Senate Bill 172 by Governor Preston Smith. SB 172 was introduced to "prohibit the traffic of endangered species of wildlife." It would have impacted state parks and the bill's authors hoped it would serve as a model for the Department of the Interior.
