Letter from William M. Nathan to I. H. Kempner discussing the passing of Max Krost, former owner of Public Laundries and the largest stockholder of the Humble State Bank. In his will, he dedicates five thousand dollars to a Jewish welfare society in Houston. With this, Nathan suggests that they approach his estate and ask for the donation for the Hillel Building campaign.
