Description: The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Michael Tarnawski. Tarnawski joined the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1939. He joined the Navy in the spring of 1940 and completed Aviation Radio School in July of 1941. He arrived at Pearl Harbor on 1 December 1941 and was working with Patrol Squadron 12 in Kaneohe when the Japanese attacked.
