[Report concerning an interview with Jack Beers]

Description: Report to Chief J. E. Curry by P. G. McCaghren, concerning an interview with Dallas Morning News photographer Jack Beers. The interview was regarding photographs taken by him of the shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald. Beers' first photograph shows Jack Ruby as he lunged towards Oswald and fired the shot, after which he took 7 other pictures. McCaghren states that Beers was well acquainted with Ruby.

[Report to W. P. Gannaway by W. S. Biggio, January 5, 1965]

Description: Criminal intelligence report addressed to Captain W. P. Gannaway of the Special Service Bureau in Dallas, Texas. The report, which was submitted by detective W. S. Biggio, states that a letter from an anonymous writer is attached. The writer states that Jack Ruby was paid to kill President Kennedy by Lyndon B. Johnson. He writes that he was a friend of Lee Harvey Oswald and that he will be able to prove these allegations once he is released from prison.
