The scene is described below as "Lynnhaven Inlet to the famous Lynnhaven Bay; where the largest oysters are gathered. Near Cape Henry, Va." The letter on the back reads, "Hello Mamie wish you were here with us - Cape Henry is right all the Atlantic ocean is so pretty with love from Sig." The postcard is addressed to "Miss M. S.
