Description: Letter from Chauncey D. Leake to I. H. Kempner enclosing a reprint on "V.D. Control in Texas” and highlighting some paragraphs about the recent rise in venereal disease (VD) cases in Galveston. The letter blames the rise on the reopening of the city's red light district.
