The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an oral interview with Frank Nemec. Nemec joined the Marine Corps in December, 1942 and trained at San Diego. He arrived overseas in time to join B Company, 1st Tank Battalion in the First Marine Division when they invaded New Britain. Nemec describes going ashore and the conditions of battle at Peleliu.
