Pipe-Wrench.

Description: Patent for a pipe-wrench that is a "pair of tongs [made] for holding rods or pipes of different diameter so that, when between the jaws, they will be held by an elastic cam pressure, without any further muscular exertion by the smith or expert mechanic who is about to work upon the rod or pipe" (lines 16-21).

Coffee Mill.

Description: Patent for a new and improved coffee mill. This design consists of "the combination of the case having the chambers and the hopper, the burr or grinding disk, fastened to the lower end of the inner side of the hopper and to the upper side or top of the chamber . . . shaft, having a disk, revolving in a covered recess or chamber in the burr, bridge, screws, and handle" (lines 57-65).
