Description: Report to Chief J. E. Curry by V. C. Campbell regarding his assignments and the murder of Lee Harvey Oswald. Campbell states the he was assigned to the basement hallway on November 24, 1963, and that he was standing by the jail office when he heard a gunshot. He assisted in helping other officers attempt to get Oswald back into the jail office, then helped place him on the ambulance stretcher. He states that he was then assigned to stand guard at the operating room at Parkland Hospital.
