The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an oral interview with Matthew Constantino. Constantino joined the Marine Corps in June, 1941 and trained at Parris Island. He was assigned to the 7th Marines and went to Samoa before heading for Guadalcanal in September, 1942. Constantino served as a 60mm mortar man.
