Description: Photograph of the Ketelsen & Degetau Hardware store in Ciudad Juarez engulfed in flames. The store is said to have been destroyed by Pancho Villa's troops on the second day of the Battle of Juarez, May 9, 1911.

[Large Plume of Smoke]

Description: Photo of a very large plume of smoke extended high into the sky. On the bottom left hand corner, the smoke rises from the rooftop of a brick building in Juarez, Mexico. Although the external facade of the building is intact, it appears that the entire interior of the building is engulfed in flames. A few people observe the fire.

Description: Photograph of a an exterior view of a building identified as John Adams Hardware and Grocery Store on the corner of Fifth Street and Austin Avenue. Text along the building says "Groceries Hardware And Ship Chandlery Plymoth Cordage Steam...." In front of the building, there are three people. Adams was also the undertaker and butcher.
