Description: Letter from Truett Latimer to C. G. Whitten discussing an unnamed bill that would change the 42nd District Court, which Whitten previously asked Latimer to oppose. Latimer writes that the bill was recently heard by a sub-committee and that he wanted to wait to hear from members of the Abilene Bar before making a decision. He continues that he asked members who oppose the bill to organize a petition and that if it the majority of the Abilene Bar is opposed to the bill he will vote against it.
