During his session Blumer speaks about his experiences in the Women's Chorus of Dallas, his transition from female to male, and his later advocacy and work for those in the LGBT+ community and the Transgender Education Network of Texas. Blumer was raised in Amarillo, moved to Philadelphia, and returned to Dallas, Texas in the '90s with his partner.

Entertainment included performances by Booker T. High School dancers, Jason Walker, and Ellen Lauper, among others. Victoria Gutierrez hosted the Black Tie Dinner auction.
