The image on the front is of the U.S.S. Maryland on the water showing the starboard side. Printed in the bottom left corner is "U.S.S. Maryland."

Postal card from Stefan Fred Czarnecki to his family sending holiday wishes from Hawaii. The image on the left side of the postcard is of Stefan Czarnecki in a white sailor's uniform with dark necktie. Next to the image is an illustration of two palm trees. Postcard is dated two days after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Czarnecki wrote a brief reference to the attack on the message side of the postcard.
