The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Robert LeBeau. LeBeau joined the Navy in May of 1943. He completed radio school, and played clarinet in the band located on base at Great Lakes. He served aboard the USS Talbot (APD-7), transporting Navy and Marine underwater demolition teams, and escorting convoys. They traveled to Pearl Harbor, the Philippines, Saipan and Okinawa.
