Description: The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Charles Mann. Mann joined the Army National Guard in January of 1941. He served with a medical unit and played trumpet in the band. He completed Officer Candidate School, and was later commissioned as a lieutenant in the Army Air Forces around mid-1944.
