The National Museum of the Pacific War presents a monologue with John Harrington. Harrington completed the V-12 Navy College Training Program and went on active duty in July of 1943. He completed Midshipman School in May of 1944. Beginning in June, he served aboard USS LCI(L)-981, making landings on Morotai in Indonesia and Leyte, Ormoc, Mindoro and Palawan in the Philippines.
