Notes

The Black Academy of Arts and Letters presented the singer and actress Lorraine Pope, aka Mzuri Moyo Aimbaye, in her performance of her award-winning one woman show, “Fannie Lou Hamer,” at the Clarence Muse Café Theatre in the Dallas Convention Center Theatre Complex on January 24-25, 2003. Mzuri is accompanied by the pianist, Darrell Nickens. The Black Academy of Arts and Letters, Inc. 2002-2003 26th Season Programs were supported in part by the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs and the Texas Commission on the Arts.
