Notes

Inspired by a road trip through the American Southwest and Mexico, textile and fashion designer Zandra Rhodes created several collections inspired by the colors, iconography, and patterns she viewed through the windows of her Volkswagon camper. This “Cactus Everywhere” print, featured in her collection “Across the USA - Cactus and Cowboys,” shows Rhodes’ trademark fantastical colors and flamboyant interpretation of a novel landscape.

Wide, rounded neckline is trimmed in small round fuchsia beads on 1-1/2” ruffle and alternating matching larger and tiny round beads on scalloped 6” lower ruffle. Elbow length sleeves with matching beads on hem and closure of loop and self-covered button. Dress is fitted at waist with a 2" webbed red satin waistband with two self-covered button closure at center back. Ankle-length skirt is draped from center front and back at waistband and is trimmed with ruffle down center front and back seams bordered with alternating fuchsia beads matching neckline. Lined in red rayon.
