Ensemble of metallic turquoise and gray silk satin with purple sash. A) Blouse. Waist-length jacket of dark metallic turquoise satin. Hip-length, with bracelet-length sleeves; wide ruffled cuffs of dark gray silk satin. Center front wrap opening with single domed dark green plastic button and two hook and eyes. Wide black velvet lapel/collar lined ruffle of the dark gray satin. Puffed shoulders with purple net. Extra button sewn inside lower left corner of jacket. Meant to be tucked into skirt. Unlined. B) Skirt. Full length skirt, wide A-line of dark metallic turquoise silk with wide front panel of dark metallic gray satin with self ruffle along sides, gathered along the seam edges. Left sideseam closure of hook and bar and two snaps at left side above zipper opening. Single slit pocket at left side by zipper. Unlined.

Notes

Martha Tiller has a portrait from 1986 depicting herself wearing this dress. The portrait was created few years after purchasing dress at Elizabeth Arden at Galleria. The dress was the runway finale that year.
