Notes

The two paragraphs of descriptive text read "Under the hand of Jesus the Tiger loses his rage, The Lion his Fury, The Wolf is made a Lamb." and "Man becomes a child; happy times, happy age when we will only see a flock flower."

The print includes a reference to the Book of Isiah 21:6: For thus the Lord said to me: “Go, set a watchman; let him announce what he sees. The watchman in this case becomes the viewer surveying the idyllic field.
