The first covers John Kerry, a Democratic nominee, announcing his support of a same-sex marriage ban in the Massachusetts Constitution and the response. The second covers the resignation of an appointee to the George W. Bush Presidential administration following Bush's support of the marriage-ban being added to the Constitution.
