Alvarez contends that citizens
w ho were qualified to vote were not
allowed to cast ballots He l ikevisc
contends that voters unqualified to
vote cast their ballots as well
The suit also alleges that Codes
85.032 and 85.033 of the Texas
Election Code were violated by of-
ficials charged with supervision of
the election.
Alvarez also believes that secu-
rity for ballot boxes was improper
and that various voters were denied
their rights under the United States
and Texas Constitutions.
Barreras's response simply states
that Alvarez's petition did not con-
tain any specific facts in regard to
his allegation and that the suit is
groundless and malicious
cious
Both parties are seeking attor-
neys' fees and other expenses from
the other's opponent
