HOW FAMOUS MINERAL WATER
IS KEPT PURE
Mineral Wells, Texas,
January 29, 1918.
To Whom It May Concern:
This is to certify that I, J. C. Liles, have just
completed a well for the Famous Mineral Water
Company, located on the west side of West Mountain,
and will state that we went through 161 feet
of blue shale, as dry as can be, without a drop
of surface water. I then set the steel casing in
Cap Rock--which is about 18 inches in thicknessand
then went through 38 feet of Mineral Rock,
and can state that it is a physical impossibility
for any surface water to get into this well.
J. C. LILES.
On this day, the 8th day of February, 1918,
before me personally appeared J. C. Liles, to me
well known to be the person mentioned in the
above, and acknowledged that he signed the same
as his own free act and deed.
In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my
hand and affixed my official seal.
My term expires: May 31, 1919.
G. A. SIMS,
Notary Public.
