Display Note: Accompanying information: This picture shows the title page of a small pamphlet of three leaves. It measures 5 1/2 inches by 7 3/4 inches. In typically nineteenth-century prose, it extols the quality of the mineral water. A reference to salts and crystals (along with the copyright date of the picture given as 1900) suggest that evaporating the water for its salts began much earlier than popularly thought. Please note the candid reference at the bottom of the picture to the water as laxative. Such candor among the glowing prose exhibited on the rest of the poster can only be regarded as remarkable.
