A history of the Boerne Reading Club that includes meeting minutes from January 24, 1922, through November 6, 1951. Also included are updated lists of members as membership changed over the years, and a record of their brief disbanding during World War II.
In 1952, Boerne citizens created the Boerne Public Library. In 2011, the city added the Patrick Heath Public Library, which provides programming and cultural enrichment, local history archives, and stands as a community center.
