Text: "Know all men, that we Frans'co Farias principal and Lazaro de la Garza and Juan Ortiz securities to securities of the city of Laredo and State of Texas are held and firmly bound unto Don Santos Benavides, chief Justice of Webb County, or to his successors in office, in the sum of Thirty Six (36) Dollars good and lawful money of the United States, to be paid to [...] Chief Justice or his successors in office in case of noncompliance with a certain law of the State of Texas regulating the estraying [sic] of Animals, else this obligation to be void and of no effect. In witness whereof, we have herunto set our hands, this the twelfth day of July, eighteen hundred and sixty. Delivered in presence of Agustin Salinas, Juan Josê Salinas."
