MILLS ON CAMERA.
Yesterday, the French marked the 180th. anniversary
of Bastille day, their equivelant of the U.S.: 4th
of July. It was the day the people of Paris rose ag-
ainst the govenrment of Louis the 14th and took the
old fortress by storn.
The Bastille was of no military importance, but it's
capture symbolized the spirit of rebellion that
swept through France.
In Berkeley California, wild--eyed students and Hippies
took the opportunity to storm their own personal
Bastille, the chain link fence surroundingcPeoples
Park. 'The going's on are pictured in this report
from Jeff Marlow.
